Agrarians of Zhytomyr region got acquainted with the technologies of Israel.
In Zhitomir on may 16, representatives of the agricultural industry took over the experience of Israel in the framework of the business seminar "Development of regional cooperation between Israel and Ukraine". The event was attended by the Director of the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation Oleksiy Shatylo, President, Association for development and cooperation "Israel – Ukraine and CIS" Leon Tabakov, representatives of the Association in the United States Leonid Kochkin and Ukraine Valery Picky, the producers of the region and representatives of the agricultural industry. Leon Tabakov has shared with the audience the main characteristics and features of the agricultural sectors in Israel, spoke about the innovative technology that has allowed Israel to leave in the first positions in the ratings of many sectors of the economy. In this country are highly developed poultry farm and ndin, widely represented dairy farming, vegetable growing. Despite the geographical location in the territory where there is little fresh water in Israel to grow fish in the desert and even breed sturgeon for caviar production.
