In Lutsk hosted the relay race
Traditionally in our city is track and field athletics relay on prizes of the independent public-political newspaper “Volyn-Nova”. The event is timed to the 71st anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second world war and Day of memory of Lucian, who died during the antiterrorist operation in the East of Ukraine. General management of the relay by the Committee for physical culture and sports of the city Council in collaboration with the editors of the independent public-political newspaper "Volyn-Nova". At the start of the relay, which took place on Theatre square, was visited by the Deputy of the mayor Yury Mollica. He conveyed greetings to the participants from Lutsk city mayor Mykola Romaniuk, who unfortunately could not take part in the opening ceremony. “It's nice that this year there are many events legkoatletka. I hope there will be more. We want more young people participated in such events”, - said Yuriy Moklytsya. Welcomed the participants to the editor in chief of the independent socio-political newspaper “Volyn-Nova” Alexander Shorenet. Later, the students of Volyn regional Lyceum with intensive military and physical training, the Deputy of the mayor Yury Mollica and chief editor of the newspaper “Volyn-Nova” Alexander Sharenet as a sign of remembrance for the victims laid flowers to the photo stand to the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and the fallen ATO participants. Just to start out more than 550 participants, who will compete for awards in 5 groups: - higher educational institutions III-IV accreditation levels; - educational institutions of I-II accreditation levels, vocational colleges; - comprehensive educational institution; Lyceum; - collectives of enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city. Relay participants have overcome 12 stages: from Theatre square through the streets of the Slovak Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Senator Levchenko, glushets, Park, Liberty Avenue, the street Chopin, Avenue Basil Moses (near the Memorial complex "Eternal Glory"), Vinnichenko - Theatrical independence. The race track is 3 thousand 650 m. The victory among higher educational institutions of III-IV accreditation levels was won by the team of the Eastern national University named after Lesya Ukrainka. The representatives of Lutsk pedagogical College were the best among higher educational institutions of I-II accreditation levels, vocational colleges. Among secondary schools - representatives of comprehensive school I-III stages No. 25. The team of Volyn regional Lyceum with intensive military and physical training won among high schools. And in the “Collectives of enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city,” the best were the representatives of the urban center of tourism, sport and local history students. Awarded and the youngest participant of the relay is Yana Kondratyuk (UCMJ No. 22-Lyceum”) and the elder – Dmitry Petrocoke. The winning teams awarded transitory cups and diplomas of the Committee for physical culture and sports of the city Council, as well as monetary reward from the independent public-political newspaper "Volyn-Nova".
