Before the world day shirts joined employees of Lutsk city Council
the Employees of Lutsk city Council came to work in embroidered shirts. Thus they joined the world day shirts. The tradition of celebrating this day originated in Chernivtsi 10 years ago in Chernivtsi national University named after Yuriy Fedkovych. During the following years, the festival has grown to a nationwide level, to him and to join the Ukrainian Diaspora worldwide, as well as supporters of Ukraine.
