In the Rivne region rescuers carry out check of readiness of the civil protection authorities of the district to respond to potential emergencies
According to the plan of main activities of civil protection in Rivne region for 2016, approved by the order of Chairman of regional state administration, in the period from 19 to 20 may in Demidovsky district, the Commission of the Main Department of civil service of Ukraine of emergencies in Rivne region together with representatives of Department concerning emergency situations and civil protection of the population of the Rivne regional state administration, educational-methodical center of civil protection and life safety in Rivne region conducted a comprehensive check of the status of implementation of the state policy in the sphere of civil protection and the organization of work on technological and fire safety. On may 19, Deski district state administration held a working meeting chaired by the Deputy chief of head Department of the State service of Ukraine of emergencies in Rivne oblast Oleg Panuco. Also present were members of the State service of Ukraine for emergency situations, heads of regional authorities. According to the Chairman of the Commission Oleg Panuco, the main purpose of the test is not only assessment of the activities of the district level territorial subsystem of uniform system of civil protection, but also providing organizational and methodological assistance to Executive staff of bodies of Executive power, enterprises, institutions and organizations in performing its tasks in the field of protection of population and territories in the area, responding to emergency situations of technogenic and natural character origin, of the fire safety and control for the NRF. One of the stages of verification was the testing of the simulated emergency. According to a tactical plan, 19 may at 15:57 in the village. In Demydivka District culture house on the street B. Khmelnitsky, 12 have been an oxygen cylinder explosion followed by burning. The explosion caused a fire in the area of 20 m2, the shock wave destroyed the walls revealed 3 affected. To eliminate the consequences of the accident were involved 5 personnel and 1 fire truck DPRP-1 DPS-4 Main Department of the civil service of Ukraine of emergencies in Rivne region, one crew of emergency medical care, emergency responders, utility companies, gas service and the National police. After arriving to the scene, to search and rescue people, the fire and rescue unit was formed a link of gas and smoke protective service. After disconnecting from the power house at 16:10 firefighters began to extinguish the conditional fire. At 16:30 the fire was extinguished, and then after that the staff started the analysis of structures and search for victims. At the same time, employees of the National police of the district was organized fence in the area of emergency incidents. Members of the State service of Ukraine for emergency situations assess the interaction of special services of rescue of the area and noted the need for such exercises and training for greater coordination of actions of rescue units in the area.
