Yuri Yurik and Victor Ovcharuk awarded journalists of Ternopil region
Celebration on the occasion of journalist Day was held in the Ternopil region. Traditionally the holiday is celebrated on 6 June – the day of adoption of the Union of journalists of Ukraine to the International Federation of journalists in 1992. Thanks to the daily work of representatives of mass-media, millions of readers, viewers and listeners can immediately receive objective information. From their professionalism and unbiased coverage of events depends on the formation of public opinion. The profession of a journalist requires special care and professionalism, given the current difficult economic and socio-political processes. So thankyou and congratulations were heard from the Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Yuriy Eureka and the Chairman of the Ternopil regional Council Victor Ovcharuk. The celebrations also joined the Union of journalists of Ukraine, State fiscal service in Ternopil region and regional customs.
