Bamboo tandem from Austria popularitywith Cycling in Chernivtsi
In Chernivtsi in the framework of the project "Through Europe on a tandem" came the crew of the "Crossover" bike-tandem, created in eco-style with bamboo. Urbanists-planners Eva Gresik (Poland) and Roland Kloss (Austria) together with the mayor Alexei Kaspruk and professionals that influence the development of urban space, took part in the meeting "the Future of urban mobility in Chernivtsi". The mission of travelers – to show how many advantages Bicycle over other modes of transport. In his travels, Eva and Roland help local people to develop Cycling and infrastructure. Together with activists, they develop ways of urban mobility of the inhabitants. The project "Across Europe on a tandem Eva and Roland to promote bike use among residents and representatives of the authorities, collecting information about innovative projects promoting Cycling in the countries of Eastern Europe. Meeting with architects, planners, experts, activists and lawyers, they form a network of Bicycle-friendly European cities.
