In Zhytomyr region the Chairman of regional state administration held a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Poland
5 July, the Chairman of Zhytomyr regional state administration Serhiy Mashkovsky had a meeting with a delegation from lower Silesia, Poland. The official meeting was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Vinnica Tomas Olejniczak, Zhytomyr city mayor Sergei Suhomlin, Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Vladimir Shirma, Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta, Deputy mayor Matthew Fucking, heads of structural divisions of the regional state administration. The main theme of the meeting was to discuss possibilities of cooperation between the Zhytomyr oblast and Nigrosin province. The sides expressed interest in enhancing bilateral political dialogue and deepening cooperation in the spheres of education and culture. In particular, agreements were reached concerning the exchange of pupils, students and teachers with the aim of improving the level of education.
