The Prosecutor of the Volyn region law enforcement authorities will make everything that elections in the region took place without violations of the law
In area Prosecutor's office held a meeting of heads of law enforcement bodies of Volyn for ensuring compliance with the requirements of the law during in the region of intermediate elections of people's deputies of Ukraine in single-mandate constituency ¹23 17 July 2016. Addressing the participants of the meeting, the Prosecutor of the region Dmitry Chepak stressed that law enforcement agencies must do everything possible to ensure that the elections in Volyn were conducted in accordance with applicable law. Heads of power departments of region have agreed on a list of activities and coordinated their actions to prevent possible provocations and violations of the law, floor’connected with the illegal production of amber in the territory of the constituency, which are possible during the election period because of employment of law enforcement officers on ensuring of the electoral process. These days in the district, about'unites Kivertsi manevyts'kyi, Lyubeshovsky and Kamin ' -kashyrs'kyi districts will be on duty reinforced, RAID and mobile teams of both the police and the National guard and forest guard. And all offences which would be committed - will get a severe reaction of the law enforcement agencies. Concluding the meeting, the Prosecutor of the region noted that the responsibility for holding elections-General. Political forces should set an example of civilized competition – in accordance with the requirements of current legislation. Voters also should observe during the voting requirements of the law, not to succumb to bribery and to commit illegal actions. The same law enforcement authorities will make every effort to avoid being drawn into political processes and ensure full compliance with requirements of laws, implementation of Volyn guaranteed them by the Constitution of Ukraine electoral law, as well as timely and effective response in accordance with the competence on the facts of violations of the law.
