Opened a memorial Board to the Hero of Ukraine
In Lutsk was opened a memorial plaque to the captain of the SBU Victor Mandzik, who died March 21, 2015 in Volnovakha, protecting our country from the aggressor in the zone of the ATO. The Board has placed on the building of management of security Service of Ukraine in the Volyn region. The opening was attended by city mayor Mykola Romaniuk, Lutsk and Volyn, Metropolitan Michael, the clergy, the head of the SBU Yuri Felony, staff management, combat brothers of the deceased and his mother. The right to access Board has provided fighters of special forces “alpha”, which was there in the last minutes of the Character's life. Mykola Romaniuk expressed his sincere condolences to the mother of the deceased. “I sincerely, from myself personally and from the whole community of luck thank You for your son, Hero. And, unfortunately, nothing can replace such a terrible loss,” the mayor stated. Bishop Michael added that people live until they remember, so everyone who will pass the management of the SBU will remember the Hero who did not hesitate to go to defend their Homeland. Mother of the victim thanked everyone for remembering his son. Victor Mandzik was an employee of the security service since 2009, actively engaged in sports. Mandzik was in the zone of the antiterrorist operation from January 2015, was killed on March 21 during the detention of the cargo that the criminals were trying to smuggle across the area of the collision.
