Chernivtsi: the Payment of the half-received pension in SV’in connection with the death of the pensioner
St. 52 law of Ukraine “On compulsory state pension insurance,” specifies that the amount of pension which the pensioner belonged to and remained lost in connection with his death, paid – for the month of death inclusive members of his family who resided with the pensioner on the day of his death, including disabled family members who were dependent on him, regardless of whether they lived together with the deceased pensioner or have not lived. Disabled family members are: 1) the husband (wife), father, mother, if they are disabled or have reached retirement age under article 26 of this Law; 2) children (including children born before the expiration of 10 months from the date of death of the breadwinner) of the deceased breadwinner, who has not reached 18 years of age or older this age if they became invalids before reaching 18 years of age. Family members must apply for payment of the amount of pension of a deceased pensioner within six months from the date of inheritance opening (death of the person). In the absence of aforementioned family members or the failure to seek them for payment of the specified sum in the prescribed period, the amount of pension which the pensioner belonged to and remained lost in connection with his death, a part of the inheritance. Application for payment of pension foregone in connection with the death of a pensioner the person served to the authority appointing pension to which the deceased was registered as the recipient of the pension. The statement also provided a death certificate, documents confirming related relations. Disabled family members, the documents certifying that they were dependent on the deceased pensioner. Family members provide a passport or other proof of residence a pensioner on the day of his death. To pay lost pension, which became part of the inheritance, in the absence of family members or in case of failure to seek them for payment of the specified sum within six months from the date of opening of the inheritance is given a certificate of inheritance.
