Yesterday, the Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Vasily Pivovar, the Director of the Department of international cooperation and regional development regional state administration Volodymyr Merezhko participated in the exit workshop in Mogilev-Podolsk, with the participation of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Moldova Ivan Gnatishin, Chairman of the Mogilev-Podolsky district state administration Oleg Kitasuka, mayor of the city of Mogilev-Podolsky Peter Brovko and representatives of customs and border services. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Moldova with the problematic issues related to the recently appointed beginning of the international crossing point "Bronnytsia - Unguri". During the meeting they discussed in details the arguments of the priority of the work of border crossing point "Bronnytsia - Unguri". In particular, the sides noted that checkpoint is almost ready for the passage of passenger vehicles, which in turn would facilitate the transport flow across the bridge in the centre of Mogilev-Podolsky. Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Vasily Pivovar noted that the region is preparing the presentation of the program of road construction taking into account the opening of the international checkpoint in the village of Bronnitsa: "One of the priority directions of activity of the regional state administration is the reconstruction of crossing points on the border, infrastructure, which is outdated and does not meet European standards", - noted the official. In turn, Volodymyr Merezhko, briefed the new Ambassador and the participants with the activities of the Euroregion "Dniester", the projects and plans for the future. Chairman reiterates Oleg Kitsuki expressed great interest in coming to the opening of the checkpoint because his work provides great opportunities and prospects of its development Brennicke territorial communities and the district as a whole.
