50 Luhansk activists will study the successful experience of reform of decentralization in Transcarpathia
30 Jul Transcarpathia will visit the delegation of the Luhansk region headed by the Chairman of regional state administration Yuriy Pumpkin. The delegation also rural heads, representatives of the United territorial communities, district administrations, mayors of cities, the leadership of the Luhansk region. During week trip from East to West of Ukraine, they visited the United territorial community, to learn from their experiences, explore positive examples of decentralization and to exchange experience in the development of rural areas. The aim is to study positive examples of decentralization in Ukraine and the exchange of experience on development of rural areas during a week-long trip from the East to the West of Ukraine. The participants of the project during the trip you will pass all of Ukraine, will visit the United territorial communities of the Poltava, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Lviv and Transcarpathian regions and have the opportunity to learn from the experience of these communities. During the trip, participants will meet with leaders of regions, chairmen of the joint territorial communities, representatives of local authorities. Among the topics for discussion – new opportunities for communities, cooperation with investors, establish a system of quality education in communities, improving health systems, budget processes, prospects and development of strategic plans. The representatives of the host country in each region will show the most interesting practices and projects that have already been implemented in the region, will speak about strategy of development of territories and to address the key issues related to the decentralization process.
