In the Rivne region rescuers continue to control the harvesting campaign
throughout the country at the present time grain harvesting campaign. Despite the fact that the state in almost all areas dominated by dry and hot weather and extreme fire danger levels, the slightest carelessness in handling of fire near grain massifs - thrown cigarette butt, sparks from farm machinery, burning stubble — can cause large-scale fire. So, 3 August in the village Solvv Lobachevskogo in Volyn region, there was a fire in the grain field. In the fire destroyed the wheat at the root of an area of about 44 ha and saved almost 24 hectares. On the same day, employees of the rescue Service Rivne region four times left on elimination of fires crop residues in the private farms of peasants with a total area of almost 10 hectares. The fire occurred near the village of Cats, Rivne district, near the village Mohyliany Ostrog district, S. Bokiima Malinovskogo area and Extra S. Demidov area. August 4, rescuers liquidated a fire of barley on a field near the village of Konyukhy Kozovsky district, Ternopil region. The fire destroyed about 24 hectares of barley at the root. However, saved crops on an area of 170 hectares. With the purpose of prevention of emergence of fires on grain massifs rescuers continue to implement informatino-roses’explanatory work with managers and farm workers. In particular, in the course of this week the following events took place in Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsya, and Lviv regions. Rescuers carried out fire - technical survey of the fields of grain, and adapted equipment, which is used during the harvesting campaign. Despite the fact that in the grain fields, which were subjected to the test shall follow the requirements of fire safety, rescuers reminded the combine procedure during fire and distributed thematic leaflets. The state emergency service of Ukraine warns: it is strictly forbidden to burn stubble and crop residues, to make fire, to use any open flame in the grain fields and in their vicinity and on zernotok, procurement centers, grain elevators, next to the stacks of straw and hay.
