In the Vinnytsia region Prosecutor's office demands to punish the owner for illegal felling of 135 trees and manufacture charcoal
Nemirovsky local Prosecutor's office sent to court the indictment on charges one of the entrepreneurs in the Commission of a criminal offense under article 246 of the criminal code of Ukraine (illegal cutting of forests). It is established that the businessman, doing laplink production, knowing a certain law, the exercise of harvesting, with intent to illegal felling of trees for further use in the production of charcoal in violation of the requirements of the Forest code of Ukraine and the rules of holiday of wood on the stump in the forests of Ukraine, not having the logging ticket (warrant), offered local residents the implementation of the felling of trees of different species in windbreaks near the village Semenky Nemirovsky district, assuring the latter of the legitimacy of these works are not telling their true criminal intentions, to which the latter agreed. Thus, 135 illegal felling of trees, causing damage amounting to almost 250 thousand UAH. Then the owner, realizing his criminal intention, burned in 16 specially adapted "furnaces", which is made of metal barrels, getting charcoal. With the aim of protecting the interests of the state in criminal proceedings Nemirovsky local Prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit for damages in the amount of almost 250 thousand UAH. Currently, the criminal proceedings and the claim under consideration Nemirovsky district court. Optional: for Commission of the specified offences is the responsibility of mapping strachu in size from p’fifty to hundred free minima of the income of citizens or arrest for up to six months, or restraint of liberty for a term up to three years, or imprisonment for the same term.
