Chernivtsi: "Excise" tax violators counted almost half a million fines
This year Chernivtsi tax brought to justice 78 business entities that are engaged in trade in excise goods. The total amount of penalties and financial sanctions to violators amounted to 487,1 thousand UAH. Specialists in Chernivtsi LIGHTS revealed 29 facts of violation of ceiling prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products; 5 – retail trade in alcoholic beverages without a license. Except of alcohol seized, the offender will have to pay a financial sanction in the amount of 17.0 thousand. Among the violations there are 6 cases of sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products to minors, for which the entrepreneurs have paid the license and a fine of 6800 UAH each. Chernivtsi LIGHTS recalled that from 1 July 2015, the year the beer was an alcoholic beverage. To the entity had the right to sell a foamy drink, it must obtain a license for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages. The annual fee for a license to legally sell beer within the year is 8 000 UAH for each separate, indicated in the license electronic cash register, and on the territory of villages and settlements – 500 UAH. But for each entrepreneur for the unlicensed trade will have to pay a financial sanction in the amount of 17.0 thousand. We ask the citizens to report violators in the sphere of realization of excisable goods, because most of them fixed thanks to the involvement of Chernivtsi.
