Chernihiv: the Deputies supported the request for the construction of the temporary detention of stray animals
At the meeting of the 10th session of the Chernihiv city Council received a request from a parliamentary Deputy Irina Lobuche regarding the draft "Program of protection of fauna, regulation of number of homeless animals by humane methods in the city of Chernihiv for 2016 – 2020 is currently being developed. The Deputy asked to explain in more detail how to work with homeless animals in the city. In particular, to provide information about the deadline for the development of the project, time of completion of construction and commencement of operation of the temporary detention of stray animals, the amount of funding, staff and so on. This request was supported by MPs. After the end of voting with respect to the request Chernihiv city Glova Vladislav Atroshenko spoke about his vision for the future of such a center. - Of course, we will use the experience of other cities that have built such items for homeless animals, show effective work, " he said. - When I was on a business trip in Lviv, then immediately called for a point for homeless animals.
