the Prosecutor's office in Transcarpathian region the criminal proceedings against the Deputy of one of local councils regarding the committing of illegal hunting, according to preliminary arrangement by group of persons and killings committed by negligence (part 1 of article 119, 2st. 248 of the criminal code) was submitted for consideration in Velyky district court. We are talking about the tragic event that occurred on the night of 17th June in the forest near the village of Lubnya velikobereznyansky district. There, near the Ukrainian-Polish border, a group of persons carried out illegal hunting. One of the men made a shot from a hunting gun and hit a 45-year-old police major, who died at the scene. On the given fact initiated criminal proceedings under article 119 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (murder on imprudence). The sanction of article provides restriction or imprisonment for the term from 3 to 5 years. Besides, completed the investigation of another criminal proceedings under article 248 of the criminal code (illegal hunting) - we are talking about illegal hunting on the territory of Uzhansky national nature Park.
