However, to determine eligibility for retirement for years of service, special experience in infectious establishments (branches) shall be calculated at double the rate for all such work. This rule does not apply to periods spent in a partially-paid leave to care for a child until the child reaches 3 years of age, additional leave without pay to care for a child under the age of 6 years, as well as other leave without pay under the law. Periods spent in these furloughs before January 1, 2004 and after are counted in the insurance period in single size, with periods after 1 January 2004 will be counted in the insurance period subject to the payment of insurance premiums.
