August 31, at the Donetsk national University.In.Stus, near the main building, in the city of Vinnitsa, street 600th anniversary, held a dedication to first-year students. The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Vinnytsia regional state administration Valery Cow, the Deputy of the Vinnytsia city mayor Galina Yakubovich, deans, teachers and curators Donna. Traditionally a welcoming speech to the freshmen turned rector Roman Grinyuk: "I am happy to welcome you, dear freshmen, among the student cohort national University named after Vasyl Stus. I wish each of you, to draw new knowledge, achieve their goals and improve every year. This year Ukraine celebrates the 25th anniversary of its independence, and to our University this year marks 80 years". According to Roman Grinyuk in 2016?2017 academic year, the University will enrol more than 5 thousand people. To Donna during the opening campaign of 2016 was credited 2246 students from all regions of Ukraine. In turn the Chairman of regional state administration Valery Cow addressing the students said that each of them becomes a new path in my life. "I hope that in the future you will become real experts in their field. You are our hope, because young people - the future independent state. I wish each family peace, prosperity and God's blessings. And you, students, inspiration, ambition and aspirations to change lives for the better," - said Valery Cow. Also, the Chairman of regional state administration gave the rector of the national University diploma of the regional state administration and regional Council for their conscientious work, considerable personal contribution to development of statehood on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.
