Suppression of crimes connected with illegal felling of the wood is under constant control of the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region
13.09.2016, in Vinnitsa city court Prosecutor's office defended the position on the abandonment, in effect, the selected one of the organizers of the criminal scheme of plunder of forests, the measure of restraint in form of detention with a certain Deposit in the amount of 4.5 million hryvnia. In the transaction involved more than 50 “fictitious” sub’of business activity through the account which held about 1.5 million hryvnia for the stolen timber. Upon review, the court made a decision to keep in force the previously chosen measure of restraint.
