Vinnytsia oblast oncologic dispensary got a modern mobile mammography for the detection and prevention of breast cancer among women, acquired in the framework of the Ukrainian-American project "Unforgettable Kvitka". Over the 9 years of the project Vinnytsia oblast became the first and only region of Ukraine, have completed a charity event dedicated to the memory of the American singer of Ukrainian origin Kvitka Cisyk, whose life cut short cancer illness, acquisition of the necessary to diagnose this disease equipment. For the purchase of mammography at the initiative of the regional authorities was drawn 3 million 900 thousand hryvnias from the regional budget. Another 50 thousand hryvnias was collected last year during a charity concert.
