During session of city Council deputies considered the issue “On appeal to the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine A. Avakov. regarding the level of crime and the crime situation in the city of Lutsk”. The draft decision was prepared by the standing Committee of the city Council on issues of human rights, the rule of law, combat crime and corruption, parliamentary activities, ethics and regulations. Rapporteur on this issue was made by Deputy Igor Polishchuk. He noted that in 2016 in luck, there is a sharp increase in the number of crimes, most of which constitute crimes of medium gravity and very serious, and significantly increased the number of crimes against property. At the same time, the level of crime is low enough, and suddenly is 14.1 %. In addition, significantly reduced the personnel of the police officers. The reason for this is the lack of a mechanism of replenishment of the sergeants of police officers, lack of motivation and adequate remuneration of police officers also lack of logistical support for their normal operation.
