September 27, mayor Sergei Nadal took part in a meeting of the Board of the Association of cities of Ukraine, headed by Vitali Klitschko, which was held in Kiev. The meeting discussed a number of important issues in the activities of the cities, in particular on the preparations for the heating season, the health reform’I, the development Strategy of the regional offices of the ACU, for the submission and consideration of e-petitions to the AIU, and the like. According to the head of Ternopil, one of the most important issues discussed during the meeting is the consideration of the interests of local government in the state Budget for next year. “the City mayor has expressed his opinion, what adjustments should be made to the State budget in 2017 to ensure the effective functioning of our towns and villages, adequate salaries for teachers and doctors, at the appropriate level to conduct the heating season, - said Sergey Nadal. Is also an important issue remains the debt of the government of the district heating enterprises in Ukraine. For example, the government should reimburse CP «Ternopolgorteplokommunenergo” more than 50 million hryvnias, and this, in turn, question the normal activities of the company, the conduct of the heating season, ensuring the people's living hot water and heat. Therefore, at the Board meeting it was suggested a number of actions which, in the opinion of the mayors, should the government do in addressing this issue. These proposals should be discussed with Prime’Prime Minister, Ministers and relevant parliamentary committees, lying to a specially formed working group”.
