Zhytomyr: for the first time in many years, the region will begin vaccination of adults against diphtheria and tetanus
In the ongoing process of vaccine supplies procured by the State budget of Ukraine. According to the head of Department of mobilization work and special issues of the Department of health regional state administration Sergey Berezovsky, according to the orders of the Ministry of health of Ukraine on the distribution of immunobiological preparations Zhytomyr region in September and early October of 2016 received 27240 doses of BCG (to prevent tuberculosis in children), 63840 doses of DPT vaccine (intended for vaccination against pertussis, diphtheria and tetanus for children up to 7 years), 34150 doses of ADS (intended for the vaccination of children against diphtheria and tetanus at the age of 6 years), 37920 doses of ADS-M (intended for vaccination against diphtheria and tetanus in children 7 years and older, regular revaccination of children aged 16 years and revaccination of the adult population) and 28320 doses of vaccine bopv (oral polotna vaccine (bivalent) for the third and subsequent vaccination of children against polio). For the first time in many years, the region will begin vaccination (revaccination) of adults against diphtheria and tetanus vaccine TD.
