In Vladimir-Volyn local Prosecutor's office under the chairmanship of the head of the local Prosecutor Vitaliy Knysh held a joint meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies of the cities of Volodymyr-Volynskyi and Novovolynsk, Vladimir-Volyn, Gorokhovskiy, Ivanchenkova, turiysk and Lobachevskogo areas. Opening the meeting, head of the local Prosecutor's office said that law enforcement authorities in 2016, events to some extent contributed to the stabilization of the crime situation. The overall level of crime on the territory of the local Prosecutor's office is 94.6 crimes per 10 thousand of population. It is significantly higher in Novovolynsk and Volodymyr-Volynskyi (150 and 130 crimes per 10 thousand of population, respectively). The lowest level of crime in Gorokhovskaya and Ivanichevsky areas. The amount of recorded criminal offences in the territory for the first 9 months of this year (2416) compared to the same period last year (2340) grew by only 3.2%.
