The Carpathians: more 353740 thousand hryvnias to pay the forestry area for damage caused to forests
during planned inspections of observance of requirements of environmental legislation of GP “Makransky LMG” and SE “LH Mezherskoe” experts of the State ecological inspection in the Transcarpathian region revealed the illegal felling of trees, poor and untimely clean up of cuttings from wood residuals, damage trees to the point of cessation of growth, damage young forest cultures, violation of the terms of timber harvesting and the like. State inspectors on environmental protection revealed violations of requirements of the Forest code of Ukraine the administrative charges brought against 33 officials of GP “Makransky LMG” and 27 officials of GP “Mezherskoe LH” for the total amount of fines 7072 of the hryvnia. Dergocrine the calculation of the amount of damage caused to forests, exhibited the claims of the SE “Makransky LMG” in the amount of UAH 252255,89 and SE “LH Mezherskoe” in the amount of UAH 101485,09 for voluntary compensation of the caused losses. In the case of abandonment of the claim without the response of the state ecoinspection will be transferred the case to the Economic court of Transcarpathian region on the forced recovery of these amounts.
