During the weekly staff meeting the Director of Department of international cooperation and regional development regional state administration Volodymyr Merezhko highlighted and described the work of the industrial complex in Vinnytsia region for 9 months of 2016, according to the industries of the region. As regards production of food products and beverages, the index of industrial production to the corresponding period last year is 111,7 %. The share of industry in volume of sold products (goods, services) for the period of 9 months, and 64.9% of the average regional level. "For the corresponding period in the region sold products in the amount of 22.7 bln. This year there was an increase in seasonal production of PJSC "Vinnitsa SWC", Vinnytsia poultry farm PJSC Vinnytsia-Mlyn, JSC "Vinnitsa plant of bread products # 2 and Vinnitsa confectionery factory. In addition, early this year started the season sharovarin, as well as increased production volumes at the state enterprise Nemirovsky alcohol plant and PJSC "Trostyanetsky meat-processing plant. Accordingly, the dynamics of growth of food industry in January-September 2016 is – 11, 7%," - said the official. According to Vladimir Merezhko, for the first 9 months of 2016, the mining enterprises of the region sold industrial products (goods, services) in the amount of 684,7 million UAH. that is 2.0% of the average regional level. Woodworking industry sold industrial products (goods, services) in the amount of 1.4 bln. that is 4.1% of the average regional level in the chemical industry - $ 1.1 bln. that is 3.1%, pharmaceutical industry - $ 324,4 million UAH. that is 0.9%, the enterprises for manufacture of building materials sold - the amount of 896,1 mln. that is 2.6%, metals and engineering the field of sold products in the amount of 1.7 bln. that is 4.9%, enterprises in the energy region of production (goods, services) in the amount of 5,5 bln. that is 15.8% of the average regional level. As noted by the Chairman of the regional state administration Valery Cow: "the Manufacturers do not work on quantity but on quality of industrial products of the region. And we, at the level of government, must seek new markets for quality goods and thereby improve the economy.".
