SBU stopped the theft of wood from forestry in Zhytomyr
staff In the Zhytomyr regional Department of the security Service of Ukraine and the State ecological Inspectorate stopped the theft of timber illegally exported from the state enterprises for resale. Law enforcers detained near one of the state forestries in the village Nowogrodzki, Korostyshevsky district truck with trailer, loaded with almost 50 cubes of timber. The driver could not provide documents about the origin of timber, and, according to the invoice, the sender and the recipient wood was the same legal entity. Intelligence officers during a search found on the territory of the forestry a place where criminals are warehoused illegally cut wood. At the "base" was found a few dozen logs.
