Chernihiv mayor met with businessmen of the city
of Chernihiv city Council mayor Vladislav Atroshenko has held meeting with entrepreneurs of Chernihiv. For a General discussion were asked two questions: cleaning the city during the large precipitation and the decoration of new year and Christmas holidays. The mayor appealed to businessmen to urge them to work together to care for our city. First of all it was about joining efforts for cleaning the city during significant precipitation. Vladislav Atroshenko stressed that the time to clean the territory of the city by the urban services during periods of high rainfall and changes in temperature when rapidly formed ice on the sidewalks impossible. It should greatly increase the staff of workers of municipal services and the number of snowplows, and this is a significant additional burden on the city budget. Therefore, every entrepreneur needs to clean the surrounding part of the sidewalk at its office, shop and the like. During the discussion after expression of the businessmen of the city of comments and suggestions was a joint decision regarding the manner and time of harvesting of the adjacent territory. Therefore, if, for objective reasons, the owner failed to clean up the area in time, after comments from regulatory services to perform this work is another day. For not cleaning their areas after the end of this time the entrepreneur has to pay a fine of 1700 UAH. Separately also touched upon the problem of the destruction of icicles on roofs of houses. On this issue recommended to seek the assistance of KP "Zelenstroy", which has proper equipment and experience on this issue. Commenting on the decision, the mayor said: "I want everybody to be conscious and understand that we are pursuing the goal of cleanliness and safety in the city, and in any case not penalties". Vladislav Atroshenko also invited entrepreneurs to work together with the city power in relation to the original artistic-aesthetic solutions for decorating the city for Christmas and new year holidays. Despite certain difficulties, resulting in financial and economic situation in the country, everything possible must be done to the city on Christmas and new year holidays to look attractive, festive and created an upbeat, happy mood for its residents and visitors - said the mayor. For entrepreneurs were presented the options of decoration of buildings, trees, lamps, displays, etc. As previously reported, the decree of Chernihiv mayor Vladislav Atroshenko a competition for the best festive decoration of shop Windows, facades of objects of trade, restaurant economy and domestic service of population and the adjacent territories to the new year and Christmas holidays. The results of the contest, which runs from 19 to 23 December this year, among the economic entities of the city, will be announced on December 23. The winners will be rewarded with a mayor's commendation awarded prizes. Also, the mayor has proposed to announce a competition for the best cleaning of the adjacent territory and also reward for it entrepreneurs-owners.
