Representatives of leading enterprises of Vinnytsia region establish business cooperation in Georgia (photo)
Yesterday, 30 November, in the framework of the working visit of representatives of the leading enterprises of the region took place the Ukrainian-Georgian business meeting. During the meeting, the Director of the Department of international cooperation and regional development of the regional state administration V. M. Merezhko presented the business opportunities and investment proposals in Vinnytsia region. The Chairman of the Board of PJSC "Vinnitsa oil and fat plant" Chalenko D., Director of the branch processing complex OOO "Vinnytsia poultry" Leshchenko I. V. and General Director of LLC "agro-Etalon" Shafiev G. D. presented the activities of some of the most successful and efficient companies in the region. CEO of Georgia Davit Tsertsvadze familiarized the Ukrainian party with the work of the chamber of Commerce and the National investment Agency briefed the Ukrainian businessmen with the peculiarities of doing business in Georgia initiated by the Georgian government investment portfolios. The second part of the event was held in the format of B2B meetings, where the Ukrainian and Georgian companies discussed the possibilities of establishing business contacts. The delegation also visited the international exhibition Agro+Food+Drink+Tech Expo Georgia in 2016. This exhibition is one of the most popular exhibitions of this kind in the Caucasus and offers the participants the best opportunity to launch new products in the markets of the Caucasus and attracts a large number of customers and experts. During the visit the head of the delegation V. Merezhko M visited the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, where he met with Temporary charge d'affaires of Ukraine in Georgia Nazarov, G. P. and discussed the state of Ukrainian-Georgian cooperation. As a result, agreements were reached to attract global business to participate in exhibitions, fairs and other events that will take place in Georgia,with the aim of increasing the export potential of our enterprises.
