In Zhytomyr discussed the project of introduction of bioenergy technologies in the field of
the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of Zhytomyr regional state administration on December 9, held a round table discussion of the draft United Nations development Programme (UNDP) and Global environment facility (GEF) "Development and commercialization of bioenergy technologies in the municipal sector in Ukraine", which aims to develop policy, technical assistance and financial incentives to encourage investment in municipal projects from biomass. The event was attended by representatives of the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation, urban planning, architecture, construction and housing and communal services, Department of agricultural development, industry management, infrastructure development and tourism and Department of environment and natural resources regional state administration and of Executive Committee of Zhitomir. Opening the roundtable, Deputy Director of the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of regional state administration Victor Gradowski has called for active discussion. During the meeting, Alexander Ignatenko, chief consultant of the project "Development and commercialization of bioenergy technologies in the municipal sector in Ukraine", organized a presentation of the draft Regional program for the use of bio-energy technologies in heat and hot water supply in the Zhytomyr region.
