Zhytomyr: state of morbidity in the field of influenza and ARVI
According to operational information of the se "Zhytomyr regional laboratory center MOH Ukraine", influenza and ARVI during the 49 weeks of the season 2016-2017 in the field of ill 8 107 (649,4 per 100 thousand population). Among the cases: children under 4 years – 1781, 5-14 years – 2967, 15 to 17 years – 900, as well as persons aged 18-29 years – 918, 30-64 years 1377, 65 and older – 164. Hospitalized 339 people. Excess of an epidemic threshold is 22.7%. How to prevent getting the flu? - avoid contact with persons having symptoms of influenza infection; - limit visits to places with large concentrations of people; - often ventilate the room; - frequently wash hands with soap and water; - do not touch eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands; - cover your nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing disposable nasal tissue, which immediately after use should be discarded; - if a person has flu symptoms, you should stay away from it at least two meters; - eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep, avoid fatigue.
