In the Carpathian region discussed the issues of publishing
the regional state administration held a meeting with heads of publishing houses and printing enterprises in the region. During the meeting the parties discussed the results of the publishing year, in Transcarpathia and prospects of development of book publishing industry in the next year. Deputy Director of Department of information activities and public relations of the regional state administration Vasyl komarnicki informed those present about the plan of measures on realization of the concept of state policy towards the development of the national publishing industry and promote reading for the period up to 2020. Publishers have shared their achievements and experience in domestic and foreign exhibitions, and discussed ways to promote book production and made a number of proposals for the exhibition "Book-fest" next year.
