In Vinnytsia region Prosecutor's office in cooperation with law enforcement authorities stopped the illegal activity of gambling institutions 14.
Vinnytsia local Prosecutor's office together with employees of the Vinnytsia police Department GU NP in Vinnytsia region employees of Department of protection of the economy in Vinnytsia region JO NP 22.12.2016 of Ukraine conducted a joint operation on revealing and suppression of activity of the institutions which provided services in the field of illegal gambling in the territory of the regional center. The results of simultaneously conducted searches at 14 addresses the possible location of gambling establishments discovered and seized 186 system units with monitors, 13 flash drives, 25 Wi-Fi routers, 53 surveillance cameras and other equipment. Also seized accounting documents gambling establishments, almost 25 thousand UAH of illegal profit and a variety of promotional products. On this fact was the criminal proceedings on signs of the crime under part 1 of article 203-2 of the criminal code. Currently, in the framework of criminal proceedings for procedural guidance Vinnytsia local Prosecutor's office conducted initial investigations with the purpose of comprehensive, full and impartial investigation of the circumstances of the criminal proceedings, the persons involved in the activities of gambling establishments.
