29 Dec Chernihiv city Council extended the term of the lease contract of the integral property complex cap "Chernihiv TPP" LLC of FIRM "TEKHNOVA", dated 25 December 2000 No. 1 until December 30, 2033. The draft decision of city Council "About the timing of the expiration of the lease of the integral property complex cap "Chernihiv TPP" and treaties on subscribetoevent the use of the Loan provided to Ukraine by the International Bank for reconstruction and development, were based on the decision of the Chernihiv city Council on August 28, 2015 "to support the participation of LIMITED LIABILITY company FIRM "TEHNOVA" in the project "energy efficiency in the district heating sector of Ukraine". The agreement also provides for the introduction of energy saving technologies and improvement of the property of the integral property complex cap “Chernihiv TPP”, which will improve the quality of provision to consumers of services in centralized heating and supply of hot water. The limited liability company FIRM "TEHNOVA" concludes the contract on subscribetoevent for the execution of the loan Agreement "Improvement of energy efficiency in the district heating sector of Ukraine" between Ukraine and the International Bank for reconstruction and development, acting as contractor on behalf of clean technology Fund), dated may 26, 2014 in the amount of 4 777 000 USD. In addition, the contract on acreditando on the implementation of the Agreement on the loan, which granted Ukraine International Bank for reconstruction and development (the loan Agreement "Improvement of energy efficiency in the district heating sector of Ukraine"), dated may 26, 2014, in the amount of 30 000 223 USD. The total amount of the loan is $ 35.0 million. USA. The contract will be terminated if the LLC FIRM "TEKHNOVA" violate more than 10 calendar days, the maturity of the principal amount of subcredit, interest, margin debt, and other payments under Contracts (or Contract) on acreditando. In this case, there will be a competition for the right to receive a complete property complex of cap "Chernihiv TPP" in the lease. Currently, the contracts signed subscribetoevent FIRMA "TEKHNOVA", Chernihiv city Council and the Ministry of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine and submitted for approval to the National Commission, carrying out state regulation in spheres of power and utilities. Commenting on the decision, mayor Vladislav Atroshenko, said: "This is an extremely difficult decision: a private company leases, there are corresponding risks. But no time to lose, we must find ways to recover the heat network to reduce heat losses". The risks are high, but important is the fact that the firm has agreed on all of our supplemental agreement. In particular, if reconstruction and other repairs, the cost of the work and all improvements will remain on the balance of the territorial community of the city, - said Vladislav Atroshenko. In addition, the contract shall be deemed extended from 2023 to 2033 if not done relevant work or received credit.
