Stepan Barna: the Help and support of the ATO participants and their families is one of the main priorities of the Ternopil regional state administration
In the Unified state automated register of persons entitled to benefits, in the Ternopil region included information about 3 thousand 800 members of ATU. Last year formed the Commission for the recognition and establishment of the status of the participant-volunteer anti-terrorist operation for its activities, provided a status of the participant-volunteer anti-terrorist operation 53-om fighters. This was announced by the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna during a meeting of the Board of participants of anti-terrorist operations. In addition, during the event, Stepan Barna was awarded five military chaplains and six soldiers-volunteers. According to the head of the field, the help and support of participants of anti-terrorist operations, and demobilized soldiers and families of fallen members ATO is one of the main priorities of the Ternopil regional state administration. The head of the region focused on providing free treatment fighters ATO. Since the beginning of the antiterrorist operation for medical assistance in healthcare institutions of the region addressed 1 622 thousand participants of anti-terrorist operation, from them 18 – 987 wounded and demobilized. According to the regional program of support of participants ATO and family members of victims that is valid until 2019, stipulated a series of measures for the rehabilitation and treatment, provision of free legal aid, the allocation of land, provision of employment, support of families of participants of the antiterrorist operation. Besides, in region the regional program "Care", which provided funds in the amount of 2,700 thousand hryvnias to provide one-time assistance to the ATO participants and members of the families of the lost participants of anti-terrorist operation. "With regard to land plots for the ATO participants submitted over 5 thousand applications. By results of consideration has been given 4 thousand 268 permits for development of land management documentation for land area more than 2 thousand 306 hectares", — informed the head of the field.
