Ternopil region is preparing to mark the Day of unification of Ukraine
Solemn procession across the river Zbruch — the promotion of unity and social harmony will be held on Sunday, January 22 on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the Day of unity of Ukraine. The event traditionally takes place annually on the boundary of Khmelnitsky and Ternopil regions. This year the celebration will take place on the territory of Ternopil region in the village Volovets. Details of cultural and artistic events discussed during a meeting of the organizing Committee, under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Ternopol regional state administration Yury Eureka. Theatrical festival "Zbruch river of unity" is held annually on the banks of the Zbruch river, on the border of Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions. The event will start at 12.00 h meeting of the delegations of the Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil regions on the bridge over the river Zbruch where they will exchange loaves. 12.15 — the movement of the column of standard-bearers, the girls in Ukrainian costumes, schools and Lyceum, employees of enterprises, institutions, organizations and heads of district, city and region. Then the Holy fathers will leave a festive prayer service. Then under the sounds of orchestras, participants will travel to the monuments of Taras Shevchenko and the angel Gorontalo PGT Volovets, where flowers will be laid. The celebration will continue with a festive concert in Podvolochisk house of culture, there will be performances by Amateur groups Volochisk and Podvolochisk areas.
