Vinnitsa region occupies the 1st place among Ukrainian regions in terms of production of meat and milk

According to the General statistics office in Vinnytsia region, the rate of production of gross output of agriculture in Vinnytsia region (in constant 2010 prices) for the year 2016 (preliminary data) was 117,5% (last year at 91.8%). Among the regions of Ukraine Vinnytsia oblast has occupied 1-e a place on volume of gross output of agriculture per 1 person, 2nd in terms of gross output. For January–December 2016 year all categories of farms of Vinnytsia region sold for slaughter of livestock and poultry in live weight 447,8 thousand tonnes of milk of all types 857,3 thousand tonnes and obtained eggs from birds of all kinds 865,5 million pieces. Among the regions of Ukraine Vinnytsia oblast occupies the 1st place in terms of meat and milk production and 4th place in terms of egg production.
