19 January 2017 at a meeting of the Government Committee for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, international cooperation and regional development approved the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the extension in 2017, the popular program of non-repayable financial assistance to the population and condominiums for housing insulation. "The program of financial assistance to implement energy efficient measures are extremely demanded by the population and condominiums. It is also proved by the increasing demand, which we fixed for 2 years, and numerous requests of citizens, who expect that it will continue this year," commented Sec. Savchuk and added that more than 200 thousand families, who were participants in the program were able to implement energy efficiency measures and already pay much less for utilities. "The continuation of the program is urgent to hundreds of thousands of citizens this year were able to obtain non-repayable financial assistance from the Government for housing insulation. In the near future, a draft Resolution to be considered at a Government meeting," - said S. Savchuk.
