the Department of economic development of the regional state administration informs about the grant Competition "protection of rights of persons in need of palliative care, forces WOW". Charitable organization "Network of 100 percent of my life Exactly" supported by the European Union announce a small grants Competition under the project "protection of rights of persons in need of palliative care, forces WOW". Deadline - February 17, 2017 The aim of the competition is to support public initiatives of public associations and charitable organizations aimed at the solution of problems of organization of palliative and hospice care and advocacy, individual and group interests of palliative patients to state authorities in relations with social security institutions and medical institutions. Organizations submit project proposals for the contest are: Officially registered public associations and charitable organizations with non-profit code of 005 and 006, which are: - experience in the field of palliative care; - trained on trainings in the framework of the project, or apply in partnership with an organization that has passed the appropriate training (electronic Appendix 1); Under all other equal conditions the preference will be given to: organizations created by patients and their relatives, the management bodies which include representatives of the target categories; - organizations operating in small towns; newly created organizations - up to 3 years of operation. Project applications are not accepted from religious organizations, political parties and their local branches, trade unions, associations of local self-government bodies, bodies of local self-government and Executive authorities, municipal institutions and enterprises, physical persons, commercial organizations. Can't be participants and beneficiaries of grants of the public Association and charitable organizations that: - are in a state of liquidation; - have the ability to implement the grant projects and to report on their implementation (including financial statements). The types of activities that may qualify for support under the grants: 1) Development of and lobbying for the adoption of legal acts aimed at improving the quality of life of palliative patients at the level of regions, cities, medical institutions, palliative care; 2) Lobbying for the development of new services/institutions for palliative care; 3) Lobbying for the introduction of new services aimed at improving the quality of life of palliative patients in the region/city/institution; 4) Measures to counteract discrimination of palliative patients in state institutions. This list is not exhaustive. Grant amount can range from 3 thousand to 9 thousand euros, average grant amount – EUR 6 thousand. The deadline for project proposals: February 17, 2017, at 18:00. The project implementation period: 3 to 6 months, starting from April 2017.
