Igor Gundich: On purchases through ProZorro Zhytomyr saved 15 million in one year
Thanks to the use of e-procurement Zhytomyr managed to save 15 million. According to the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of the state administration, as of 01.01.2017 year institutions in the region on electronic trading platforms posted 4369 ads on procurement of goods, works and services totaling UAH 191.5 million, of which completed successfully – 2518 totaling 82.8 million UAH. The savings from the use of e-procurement systems increased 15.0 million. The Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundich support system ProZorro. — "Transparent procurement has already shown concrete results and effectiveness – and this is 15 million hryvnias budgetary savings. Very revealing that works in medical institutions, when the savings it is possible to purchase vital equipment. I hope this year, the Zhytomyr will save even more money with the use of ProZorrî", – said Igor Gundich. Based on open data ProZorro public initiative "Public control" has made a rating of the most attractive and open to small and medium business regions of Ukraine and the best RSA for doing business with the state. Zhytomyr oblast ranks 10th in the ranking of and the regional state administration came in the top 5 leaders. The rating was based on three indicators: * The average price of a tender in a competitive auction (the expected value divided by the total number of competitive bidding for 2016). * Number of competitive bidding for 2016. * The ratio of competitive to non-competitive bidding (per cent). For the duration of the joint order of the Chairman of regional state administration and Chairman of regional Council from 07.06.2016, No. 168/44 "On the application of e-procurement systems" (June-December 2016) number of ads placed and contracts concluded in the electronic system more at 9.2 and 16.8 times, respectively, compared to their number during the period of implementation of the pilot project on introduction of e-procurement system (September 2015 – June 2016).
