Chernihiv city Council held its first meeting of the recently created Advisory Committee on support of entrepreneurship in the city of Chernihiv. The establishment and work of this Advisory Committee provides Program support to small and medium businesses for the years 2017-2020. The meeting was attended by the Deputy mayor Oleksandr Lomako, deputies and heads of structural subdivisions of city Council and representatives of citizens ' associations, members of the Committee. As defined in the Regulation on the Advisory Committee, approved by the decree of the mayor from December 15, 2016 No. 389-R, its main tasks are: - contribute to the support of entrepreneurial initiatives, promotion of effective public benefit entrepreneurship and socially responsible business, the revival of the best traditions and ethnic principles of domestic entrepreneurship, the promotion of family business; - coordination of the Programme and analysis of their implementation; - discussing and providing recommendations to address problematic issues arising in the field of entrepreneurship and preparation of recommendations for their resolution. During today's meeting the Committee members agreed on a plan to run in 2017 activities of the Programme support of small and medium enterprises and the project of the mechanism of partial reimbursement of expenses for participation in exhibitions and fairs. They also watched a presentation of the revived television project "Silver hryvnia" and discussed holding in Chernigov "Business fest", dedicated to the day of the entrepreneur and will be held tentatively on 2-3 September. The meeting participants agreed to establish a separate organizational Committee for the "Business fest", which will also include representatives of the Department of culture and tourism and the economic development authority of the city Council. Oleksandr Lomako noted that small and medium business in 2016, brought to the city Treasury 403,4 million. It is at 146.5 mln UAH or 57% more than in 2015.
