Vinnytsia eparchy of the UOC actively involved in collecting aid for the residents of Avdiivka
In connection with the aggravation of the situation in Avdeevka and the threat of a humanitarian disaster, in the Vinnytsia eparchy with the blessing of Metropolitan of Vinnitsa and Barsky Simeon declared collecting aid for the residents of the Town. In all the churches of the diocese, beginning February 1, collect food: cereals, sugar, oil, and others. Also on 30 January, responding to the call management Civil-Military Cooperation the Armed forces of Ukraine (SMS), Vinnytsia eparchy of the UOC together with the Union of paratroopers of Vinnytsia region gave the children of the Town more than 300 kg of washing powder and 176 packages of children's diapers. February 5 in the direction of Avdeevka is KAMAZ with 20 tons of aid, which includes warm clothes, food, hygiene products. Clerics urge the Orthodox faithful and all concerned people to join the collection care. Donations will be delivered to the plant by the priests, volunteers from the diocese of Vinnytsia.
