Listening to the arguments of prosecutors, the court of appeal of Volyn region overturned the conviction of Kivertsy district court that 21-year-old boy sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment with release from serving punishment with the establishment of 2-year probation for negligent homicide and reckless grievous bodily harm (criminal offense provided by part 1 of article 119, article 128 of the Criminal code of Ukraine). As is known in Volyn region, on the morning of February 15, 2015, two 19-year-old lovers have used the services of the organizer of the ropejumping and jumped from a tall pipe on the territory of incomplete construction near the village of Priluki Kivertsi district. Due to the fact that the organizer of the entertainment did not take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of jumping and did not check the gear, jump ended tragically. The guy from the received traumas has died in hospital. The girl suffered serious injuries. On appeal of the prosecution, the verdict of the court of first instance is cancelled, the culprit is assigned to the actual sentence of 3 years imprisonment.
