Our goal in the framework of the decentralization reform in the field of medicine is increasing the number of medical services while improving the quality of its provision. The process of discussion of a question of creation of hospital districts in the regions now attached MPs, Governor, President of the GSS, heads of local medical facilities. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister – Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine Gennadiy Zubko during the hour of questions to the Government in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. "The reform of medicine expects all Ukraine. In the process of reform of the health care industry is necessary, first of all- to bring medical service to person. Secondly, change the system of financing, to invest directly in a service for which a person applies. The creation of hospital districts in areas will significantly strengthen the local health care facilities. The areas that will go through the creation of hospital districts, hospital boards, quality primary and secondary medicine, will receive assistance from the state and international financial institutions that support the implementation of health reform," - said Gennady Zubko. Yesterday Ukraine Gennady Zubko met with representatives and doctors of medical institutions in Volyn region and people's deputies to discuss the creation of hospital districts in the region.
