In Zhytomyr region everyone can join the discussion of programs for grades 5-9
13 Feb started an online discussion curriculum of basic school (grades 5-9). Everyone can participate in upgrading programmes and to offer the right kind of Ukrainian school changes on the platform EdEra by reference. "We continue to update the curriculum, do it as openly as possible to the professional community, and every interested citizen of Ukraine. Now we have already started preparations for the reform of the New Ukrainian school in the first grade where the children will go 2018. However, students can not wait, so the first change we need to ensure now," – said the Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych. One of the main tasks set before MES upgrade programs of basic education, is to look at existing programs for grades 5-9 from the perspective of the competence approach, as well as on their conformity with the age peculiarities of pupils. Programs should be organized in such a way that core competencies permeated all the educational content and make it applied to life. The formation of competencies should provide the main innovation of this program updates – implementation of cross-cutting themes that will run through the main items. Development and definition of cross-cutting themes will be engaged in working groups, which include teachers, practitioners, researchers and representatives of mon. But, on the online platform, the participants will work with existing applications, highlighting the main drawbacks and suggesting structural changes. In General, the discussion exhibited a 23 curriculum for grades 5-9. Among them: the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian literature, Mathematics, computer science, Physical education, Physics, technical education, Art, health Basics, History, Foreign literature, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Science, English (for secondary schools), English language (for schools), German language (for secondary schools), German language (for special schools), French language (for secondary schools), French language (for special schools), Spanish (for secondary schools), Spanish (for special schools). "The only condition for submitting proposals and participation in discussions – to follow very simple rules, which essentially can be formulated five words: – in effect, discussion – polite," explains project coordinator for updating the programmes of basic education Sergei Gorbachev.
