In the Centre of re-training the region held a training seminar "Ways to reduce the cost of external and internal artificial lighting." The event was attended by first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Andriy Gyzhko, Director of the Department of housing and communal services, energy and infrastructure of regional state administration Sergey Volkov, Director of the Municipal institution "Regional Fund for investment and construction of" Vladimir Baboshin, scientists, heads of domestic and foreign companies - manufacturers of internal and external lighting equipment. In his opening remarks to the participants of the seminar Andrey Geico stressed that energy saving is very often understood narrowly as the replacement of Windows and doors, insulation, porches, however, this question is much deeper. "Energy costs in the country is much above the European average from the point of view of the economy - said the official - and from the point of view of security, we will consider this issue at our seminar. The participants will relate to the problems and prospects of street lighting , its cost and efficiency. I want to emphasize that our goal is a comprehensive energy-saving". In his presentation "energy efficiency Program in Vinnytsia region", Sergey Volkov noted: According to the program for improving energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption in Vinnytsia region, last year has been considerable work on the implementation of energy saving measures in budgetary and communal sphere. Therefore, for 2016, was conducted 48 boiler conversion from gas to alternative fuels. That is transferred boiler with traditional natural gas to those that are heated with briquettes, pellets, chips, firewood, and the like. In line with this, the cost of the work amounted to more than UAH 30 million and the expected savings of natural gas( i.e. neporotovo) was about 2 million cubic meters. Which in monetary terms amounts to more than 3.8 million hryvnia." The workshop participants also heard the report of corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine, Professor Sorokin V. M. concerning the state and prospects of development of led lighting in Ukraine," speech Director "Nordklim" and commercial Director of "press to" about installation of new and modernization of existing systems of artificial lighting. About "Ways to reduce loads of local budgets in the transition to led lighting" reported to the Director of the regional Fund for investment and construction of " Vladimir Baboshin. Also the representative of the Finnish company "ARITERM" informed the participants of the seminar on financing of energy efficiency projects and the bioenergy.
