Laying flowers and a moment of silence in Vinnytsia region honored the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes (photos)
20 February, residents laid flowers to the monument to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and the ATO warriors and the memorial of Glory on the European square. In the solemn laying flowers dedicated to honoring the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and the heroism of all the participants of the revolution of Dignity, was attended by the Chairman of regional state administration Valery Cow, first Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Lyudmila shcherbakovskaya, mayor Sergey Morgunov, the events of the revolution of Dignity, members of the Armed forces of Ukraine, participants of the antiterrorist operation in the East of Ukraine, representatives of the clergy, civil society and the media region. A minute of silence was held in memory of all those who three years ago never came back alive from the Independence Square in Kiev during the tumultuous events of the revolution of Dignity. Also the honor guard platoon of the command of the Air Forces, accompanied by military band March past was held at the European square, paying tribute to Ukrainian Heroes. "For three years after the events of the revolution of Dignity we were able to improve the situation in the country. In fact, Ukraine is now in a transitional phase of its history, when everything is done in order to preserve its unity and the understanding that it is the only country. And we must do everything to keep her, and this is good, understanding and harmony in society," – said Valery Cow. Recall that during the Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv in January-February 2014, killed three residents of Vinnytsia region: Valery Brezden, Leonid Polyanskiy and Maxim Shimko.
