Ternopil region wants to strengthen cooperation with Estonia
for the First time the region was visited by the extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Estonia in Ukraine Gert the ants. Together with the leaders of the region discussed existing relations and outlined areas for future cooperation. Now the Estonian investment in Ternopil region account for nearly 5 and a half million dollars. "We have positive dynamics today. Among the 37 countries represented in the Ternopil region in the form of investments and business, Estonia occupies 5th place. For us is an interesting investment. So I would like to request Estonia to become a promoter to attract investment to our region", - noted the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna. Stepan Barna noted that they plan to strengthen cooperation not only in business and investment but also in culture and education. Ternopil region is interested in the Estonian experience in the sphere of local self-government and the implementation of decentralization reform. In addition, a very good example is the cooperation between our universities, which we plan to develop and continue.
