Chernigov: 13-year-old pupil of the city's tourist Centre won the regional competition
CHernigovets Andrey Siryk was the winner in open exhibition-contest of the historical and technical bench modeling the "micro model – 2017". The competition is held for the 24th consecutive year, was held 18-19 February in Brovary, Kyiv region. Participation in the exhibition-competition was attended by representatives of the bench modeling 25 cities of Ukraine, who provided more than 500 models of various types of plastic and paper. The participants were divided into three age categories: under 14 years 14 -18 years old over 18 years old. Andrew presented a micro-model of "Torpedo Maiale" in the age category up to 14 years (Andrei 13 years old) he had no peers. Andrey Siryk is a student Club of young seamen "Under the sails". The club was established in 2013 at the Center for tourist health-improving and educational work with children and young people on a voluntary basis. Students of the Club participate in clubs sailing, boating, Hiking. To explore the history of navigation and the mastery of skills with different materials, the Club operates the ship circle. In June of this year Andrew will represent the Chernihiv in the annual international festival Kyiv modeling bench scale model fest, featuring thousands of models from different countries.
